Afternoon Rain Chance, Breezy for Monday

A beautiful fall day continues in Lincoln with temperatures in the 50s for the start of Sunday evening. Mostly clear skies will continue into the overnight hours.
We got off to a cold start across the state with low temperatures in the 20s and 30s.
Lows tonight will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s in southeast Nebraska.
Mostly clear skies tonight in the Capital City with lows in the upper 30s. Winds will increase early Monday morning.
Monday brings a chance of showers for eastern Nebraska, particularly during the afternoon. Stormcast shows light showers around noon, with stronger showers possible Monday evening.
Forecast rain totals fall under a quarter inch for the majority of eastern Nebraska. Far northwestern Nebraska could see totals close to a half an inch.
Highs tomorrow will be a few degrees above average in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Mostly cloudy skies for the start of the work week in Lincoln. Warm air will be brought up from a strong southeasterly breeze but overcast skies will try to combat any daytime heating with highs in the upper 50s.
Sunshine returns for Tuesday and Wednesday before another storm system moves through later in the week. We briefly reach the 60s on Wednesday before dropping into the mid-40s on Friday. Sunshine returns by the weekend with highs in the 50s.
