AI creative filmmaking design hackathon

AI Filmmaking

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Creators from Cinema 16 and EMA faculty hosted the one-day intensive AI film-making hackathon on Saturday at the Johnny Carson Center.

Filmmakers offered up speculative visions of the future and emergent system designs.

Individuals were able to express their creative minds in film-making by developing a film based off the specific prompt.

“This event is important because it brings together experts and creatives from different fields to explore the intersection of AI and filmmaking,” said Isaiah Griffith, president of Cinema 16. “Anyone that wants to learn about AI can come and be here.”

The day ended with a film screening and awards.
