Air fryer blamed for starting a $15,000 duplex fire in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A duplex fire that caused $15,000 worth of damage in Lincoln’s Near South neighborhood is being blamed on an air fryer.

An official with Lincoln Fire and Rescue says crews quickly knocked out the blaze on Thursday afternoon, but not before flames spread to the stove, hood and cabinets.
