All seven victims of Crete shooting released from hospital

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities said Tuesday that all the victims of the mass shooting in Crete are out of the hospital.
Seven people were wounded by gunfire on Friday when, according to the Nebraska State Patrol, 74-year-old Billy Booth shot at his neighbors from across the street.

The Crete Police Department said there was history between Booth and the victims. He had complained about how they drove and parked in the neighborhood, according to police.
Booth had also previously told the victims — who are Hispanic — to “speak English” and “go back where you came from, police said.
The patrol said it is investigating whether the shooting was a hate crime.
