Some Lincolnites came out and walked for those battling ALS.
"So it’s our annual walk to defeat ALS. It’s our biggest fund-raising event. It’s also our biggest awareness event it’s our biggest family event for our families who are walking in honor of somebody who’s fighting the disease or maybe someone who’s lost their battle but obviously never forget them and their memory and the battle that they fought against ALS," said Sherrie Hanneman the Director of Communications.
The walk to defeat ALS was held at the Auld Pavilion in Antelope Park.
Hundreds of people came out in support of those who are fighting and those who have lost their lives to this disease.
"So we’ve been doing this for 10 or more years now and so It’s really good to come back here every year see you know old faces new faces and just see the community around this and everybody coming together to beat this disease," said Jake Meyer.
This is a yearly event which means you can sign up and participate next year.
