Animal control ends goat’s adventure in Lincoln with capture at local business

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Animal control has captured a goat that has been running rampant in Lincoln for several weeks.

In a post on Facebook, animal control said Wednesday that the “Goat Interdiction Taskforce” was able to secure the loose goat.

Over the last couple of weeks, the goat had been spotted in the area of 44th Street and Cornhusker Highway.

It even led officers on a chase through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus, according to officials.

Animal control said the task force was able to stop the goat’s adventure, thanks to help from employees at Leach Camper Sales.

The goat is now safe and has since been taken to the Capital Humane Society.
