Annual Easter Egg Hunt held at Highlands Park

A lot of kids had some fun Saturday at a local Easter Egg Hunt.

One hunt took place at Highlands Park just east of Fredstrom Elementary School.

Hundreds of families participated in the annual event, which is put on by the Highlands Neighborhood Association.

“We lay out thousands of eggs. We’re not really sure how many are put out,” said Highlands Neighborhood Association President Myrna Coleman.

Coleman says all of the candy was donated by Super Saver in Lincoln.
