Another COVID death reported in Lancaster County

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Today, Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) reports another COVID-19 death, bringing the community total to 232.
The individual is identified as a man in his 60s who was hospitalized,
LLCHD also reports 51 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the community total to 30,493.
A total of 31 COVID variants have been identified within the county, nearly 75% of the cases are the UK variant.

More than 27,400 people have recovered from the virus and nearly 260,360 vaccines have been administered.
Thirty-six COVID patients are hospitalized (18 are Lancaster County residents). Four patients are on ventilators.
