Another man arrested in robbery at Lincoln’s Peter Pan Park

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A second man was arrested Tuesday in a robbery earlier this year at Peter Pan Park, police say.

Around 10 a.m., a search warrant was served at a home near 64th Street and Baldwin Avenue.

Three schools in the area were placed in secure mode, which means all doors were locked and monitored while teaching continued inside.

The Lincoln Police Department’s SWAT team took Maliki Barnes, 19, into custody.

Police said Barnes robbed a 15-year-old boy of $60 at Peter Pan Park on March 3.

Officers have also arrested a 16-year-old boy in the robbery.

Barnes was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
