LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A second man has been charged in an April shooting in the Railyard.

Marvin Wright, 30, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and tampering with physical evidence, court records show.

Around 2 a.m. on April 2, Wright was involved in a shooting near R and Canopy streets that left two vehicles riddled with bullet holes, according to an arrest affidavit.

Investigators think the shooting was gang-related, the affidavit says.

In total, officers found 61 spent shell casings at the scene.  Those bullets came from five guns, but investigators have only recovered two of the firearms.

In July, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Wright, who was captured on video tossing a gun in a dumpster, the affidavit alleges.

He is set to appear in court on Oct. 10.

Another man, 34-year-old Louis Benson, was arrested in the shooting on April 13.

He has since been charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, according to court records.
