Another mild January day today 1/12/2022

We are off to another chilly start this morning with wind chill values in the teens and 20s this morning. Bundle up before you head out the door, but make sure you wear layers that you can shed. Temperatures will quickly warm again today, with highs eventually reaching the mid to upper 50s across southeast Nebraska. The forecast is almost a copy and paste one from yesterday, but the only difference is that we will have some more clouds in the sky today. These clouds will hang around overnight tonight and temperatures will drop into the upper 20s. While tomorrow will be in the 50s for some still, others will be a bit cooler with highs in the 40s. This is the start of our temperature drop that will carry us into Saturday. Highs will drop down to the 30s on Saturday and our chance for snow at the end of the week is increasing. It’s too soon to talk about snow totals and specifics, but for now plan on changing some of your Friday and Saturday plans as we could have accumulating snow.
