Another seasonally warm day, with light precipitation
The first half of Friday will be dry and cloudy, we see a chance for light rain for the second half. Saturday brings a chance for mixed precipitation for the eastern half of the state. Temperatures trend cooler into the weekend.
There is a chance for light rain in the afternoon for areas south of the I-80. The on and off chance for precipitation will last into the late evening hours. Across the state we’ll see partly to mostly cloudy skies.
High temperatures will again be seasonally warmer, although slightly cooler compared to Thursday. We trend even cooler heading into the weekend.
A second round of precipitation arrives Saturday afternoon, with a chance for eastern Nebraska to see a light rain/snow mix.
A blustery Saturday ahead, wind gusts will range from 30-40 mph. With strong winds and a chance mixed precipitation, you might want to wait on setting any Christmas decorations up until Sunday.
Following Friday evening’s chance for precipitation, Saturday will be our next best chance for a while. We dry up and cool down heading into the start of your next work week.
