Another teenager arrested following a shootout in Grand Island

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 16-year-old is the latest teen taken into custody after Nebraska authorities say he was involved in a downtown shootout.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, two groups exchanged shots at a parking structure on 3rd and Pine Streets last Thursday.

One group was on foot and the other was traveling in a vehicle.  Authorities say the groups knew each other and had conflicts in the past.

No one was hurt, but GIPD says several vehicles were damaged.  Jesus Patino and Sergio Munoz, both 18, are accused of being accessories to a felony.

15-year-old Isaac Ronquillo is thought to have been one of the shooters.  He’s facing charges as an adult, including two counts of attempted murder.
