Antique shotguns, Husker memorabilia stolen from Lincoln home, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Antique shotguns and Husker memorabilia were taken from a home near 30th and O Streets on Sunday, Lincoln Police say.
The owner told police that someone had broken into the home by smashing a basement window.
Two antique shotguns and a .22-caliber rifle were stolen, according to police. The owner said that the guns were non-operational and were family heirlooms.
A Husker National Championship jacket, various electronics and jewelry were also reported stolen.
Police estimate the loss at around $3,550. They say that the investigation is ongoing and that anyone with information is asked to call them at 402-441-6000.
