Around 70 ALLO employees laid off across Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – ALLO Communications is reducing its workforce across Nebraska, the company announced in a statement Thursday.

In the statement, ALLO said fewer than 70 employees in 40 Nebraska communities were laid off on Wednesday.

“To deliver a great service at a fair price, we must be efficient. As our construction of any market concludes, we require fewer personnel,” the company said.

ALLO said the company’s priority “is and remains to deliver exceptional service” to its customers and communities.

In the last year, ALLO has raised and invested over “$500 million of new capital,” according to the statement.

“We will continue to grow our footprint by building and serving new communities in existing and new states going forward,” ALLO said.
