Four vehicles crash in southeast Lincoln intersection

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Four cars collided Wednesday night in southeast Lincoln, police say.

It happened about 9 p.m. at 70th Street and Old Cheney Road.

A Lincoln Police officer said a vehicle that was going west on Old Cheney ran a red light and crashed into a southbound vehicle.

Some people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital, police said. It’s not clear how many people were injured or the extent of their injuries.

Videos sent to the NOW Local News App show heavy damage to the vehicles.

The crash is still under investigation.
