WATCH: Thief sneaks into Nebraska auto shop, rifles through cash register
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska authorities are asking for help solving a recent theft at an auto shop.
Konecky Oil in Mead said this all started around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 10.
Video and photos show the unknown thief running inside from a dumpster area.
They then rummage through a cash register and eventually take off.
Surveillance shows them running from the building with an armful of items.
The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office said the thief made off with cash and oil.
Konecky Oil said the burglar is Caucasian and about 6 feet tall with a lean build.
The sheriff’s office said it appears that the thief rode an ATV.
