Authorities evacuating residents in SW Lancaster County due to wildfires, sheriff’s office says
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Firefighters and deputies are responding to multiple wildfires in the southwest portions of Lancaster County.
According to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are currently evacuating residents in the area of SW 112th Street and W Pioneers Boulevard.
“Please avoid the area and follow instructions from firefighters and law enforcement if you are asked to evacuate,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook.
Channel 8’s Danielle DaSilva is currently en route to the blaze to get the latest.
