LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run in Bellevue.

Around 7 p.m. Monday, a 32-year-old Omaha man was connecting a semi to a grain trailer on Highway 75’s shoulder.

A 2007 to 2017 maroon Jeep Wrangler hit him while he was standing next to the trailer, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Jeep didn’t stop and continued north, the sheriff’s office said.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening.

Investigators said the Jeep is missing its passenger side front and rear fender flares.
