Back to the 60s, Sunny for Sunday
Temperatures will gradually fall through the overnight hours from the lower 60s down to the upper 30s. Conditions will be pleasant for any outdoor Saturday evening plans!
Low temperatures tonight across southeast Nebraska will fall to the upper 30s with a light northerly wind.
Mostly clear skies tonight in the Lincoln with lows remaining above average in the upper 30s. Winds will be light out of the north.
Sunday’s almanac shows our average highs in the lower 50s. The record high for the day (80° – 2016) is the latest calendar day with a record high of 80° or warmer.
Highs on Sunday will be around 10 degrees above average, with many of us seeing the lower 60s.
We are looking at another pleasant fall day on Sunday in the Capital City, with highs in the lower 60s.
Stormcast shows a few fair-weather clouds across the state on Sunday. We stay dry until the start of the work week, with showers possible on Monday morning.
A small chance of rain on Monday before better chances for rain hit the forecast for the back half of the work week. Temperatures cool off next week down into the 50s, and very briefly, the 40s.
