Back to the 70s over Easter weekend

As we go through the rest of the week, temperatures will steadily climb. This trend begins on Thursday. Although it is a very chilly start with temperatures in the teens and 20s, we should be in the upper-50s to low-60s by afternoon. It won’t be all too breezy either, with a southwest wind at 5-15 mph.

Thursday Forecast

A few waves of clouds should move through, but we’re still mostly sunny overall. Some versions of Stormcast have hinted at some spotty showers/flurries on Thursday afternoon and early evening in northeast Nebraska. These will be fighting a dry air influence, so these should be few and far between. Lincoln likely stays dry all day.

Stormcast Thursday Afternoon

As we head into Easter Weekend, we’re looking at a lot of 70s for highs. Sunshine will dominate on Friday and Saturday, but we may come across a few more clouds on Easter Sunday.

There’s also a chance to see an isolated shower on Easter. I wouldn’t cancel any outdoor plans just yet, as these showers will probably be hit-or-miss. There will be many dry hours on Sunday.

Easter Weekend Forecast

Next week, temperatures continue to warm. In fact, highs may surpass the 80° mark in Lincoln for a couple of days.
