One of the people charged in the death of Sydney Loofe has been sentenced to five years in prison on a separate charge.

24-year-old Bailey Boswell was sentenced in federal court Friday morning to one count of interstate transportation of stolen property. Boswell and 51-year-old Aubrey Trail routinely traveled between Kansas and Nebraska in a gold coin fraud scheme.

Trail will be sentenced Friday afternoon. The two are being asked to pay victims nearly $200,000 in restitution.

Boswell and Trail have both been charged with first-degree murder in the Sydney Loofe’s death.  Prosecutors plan to pursue the death penalty in the case.
