Beatrice beatdown: McCook too much to handle for the Orangemen

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Beatrice Orangemen started their 2024 campaign in the House of Orange Friday night, getting trounced by McCook 56-6.

The Bison started the game scorching hot, moving the ball down the field with ease and taking a 28-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Junior running back Tyson Campbell was the work horse running back for the Bison, racking up more than 100 yards in the first half.

The Orangemen didn’t get on the board until the second half and struggled to hang with McCook all night long.

Beatrice will look to bounce back next week as it heads to Crete to take on the Cardinals.
