LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Bellevue man was sentenced on Thursday to 14 years in prison for receipt of child pornography, the Department of Justice said.

There is no parole in the federal system.  After his release from prison, he will begin a five-year term of supervised release and is required to register as a sex offender.

On Nov. 9, 2020, officers with the Bellevue Police Department were dispatched to a home.

Police said someone found a video of a naked minor on a cellphone previously used by 38-year-old Jacob Price.

The video showed Price secretly placing the cellphone in the minor’s bedroom to record her while she was naked, according to police.

The cellphone also contained thumbnail images downloaded from the internet of unknown minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

This case was investigated as part of Project Safe Childhood by Homeland Security Investigations Kansas City and Bellevue Police.
