Bird flu confirmed at another farm in Nebraska

Another case of the bird flu has been confirmed at a northeast Nebraska farm. This is the same farm that has voluntarily euthanized 200,000 chickens. 

Nearly 5 million chickens have been killed and farms nearby have been quarantined to limit the spread of the disease. 

The Dixon County farm where the bird flu was first recently found is one of two where all the birds are killed as a precaution. The company that owns those farms also owns several farms where the disease has been confirmed. 

Governor Ricketts has issued a emergency declaration to try and contain the bird flu.
