Bitter Cold Monday- Warming Up Tuesday

This afternoon, high temperatures will only reach the 20s in eastern Nebraska, meanwhile 30s and 40s farther west. Sunny skies will occur all day.

Gusty northwest winds will gust to near 25-35 mph through the early afternoon. Winds will gradually relax by Monday evening.

Feel like temperatures will stay near 15-20 degrees due to the winds in eastern Nebraska.

The first week of the new year, temperatures will stay above average for much of the country. Our average high in Lincoln is 36 degrees and temperatures could be in the 40s maybe even 50s!

Monday will be a bit blustery for much of eastern Nebraska. Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures warm up into the 40s and 50s with lighter winds! New Years starts chilly as a clipper system brings colder air but no precipitation. January starts off above average and relatively dry.
