Black Elk Elementary in Millard closed two weeks after COVID-19 outbreak

OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) – Black Elk Elementary’s Principal, Sarah Rozeboom, informed families on Monday that the school will be closed until November 15 after a COVID-19 outbreak.

Teachers are moving their classes remotely while the school is closed. The school is allowing one family member to come to the school on Tuesday and pick up any needed materials.

On Friday, the Director of Communications for MPS, Rebecca Kleeman, confirmed 25 active COVID-19 cases at the elementary school.
