Blustery winds & chilly temperatures for your Friday 11/12/2021

We are off to a breezy and chilly start to your Friday! Wind gusts are around 40 mph across southeast NE and temperatures are sitting in the 30s still. But thanks to the strong wind gusts, feels like temperatures are in the teens and 20s! A few snow flurries are also likely during your morning and afternoon today, but accumulation isn’t expected! The strong wind gusts will continue into the afternoon with gusts around 35 mph, but they will start to calm down by the evening.

Temperatures will struggle to warm today due to cloud coverage and gusty northwest winds. Highs will only reach the upper 30s today with wind chill values in the 20s.

Temperatures plunge overnight into the teens with wind chill values for some in the single digits. While the weekend will start off cold, highs will warm up a bit to the upper 40s both days with calmer wind speeds.
