Bo Pelini Involved In Car Crash

Husker football coach Bo Pelini was in a car accident in Lincoln Wednesday night.

Pelini on his way to the Husker recruiting dinner in La Vista.  Officials say Coach Pelini was driving east on Old Cheney, when a car driving west started to turn onto 34th Street.  The turning vehicle hit the left front corner of Pelini's SUV.

Lincoln Police said no one was injured in the crash, but each vehicle had around $2,000 of damage.  The driver who hit Pelini's SUV was cited for failing to yield.
