Boat destroyed in overnight detached garage fire in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews responded to a detached garage fire early Friday morning.
The fire was reported around 12:45 a.m. at a home near 20th and Harwood streets.
LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said smoke and flames were seen rising from a detached garage.
A boat inside was deemed a total loss. Lierman said the fire caused about $30,000 in damage.
The cause of the fire is unknown. No one was injured.
