Body found in southeast Iowa not Mollie Tibbetts
Authorities who found the body of a woman in rural southeast Iowa say it’s not Mollie Tibbetts.
Officials found the body of a woman in her 20s in Lee County over the weekend. The body has not been identified.
Mollie Tibbetts, the 20-year-old Iowa student, has been missing now for nearly three weeks.
Her family believes she’s been kidnapped and that she is still alive
Several agencies including the FBI have been canvassing the area, recently zoning on a hog farm south of Brooklyn, IA, where she was last seen.
The reward for her safe return now sits at $260,000.
Investigators will hold a press conference on Tuesday with the latest information regarding her case.
