Boil water advisory issued by Wymore Rural Water System

The Wymore Rural Water System issued a boil water advisory Tuesday, notifying consumers of potential health effects related to their drinking water. 

The system lost total pressure, which prompted the advisory, officials with WRWS said. 

WRWS said it is necessary to boil water for one minute before drinking or cooking with it, or to use an alternate source of water. 

WRWS is continuing to test the water and is working with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services to get the problem solved.
