LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A kitten got a taste of police work before being rescued, Lincoln Animal Control said Monday.

In a post to Facebook, officials said the “bold kitten” wanted to help LPD officers, who were conducting a traffic stop in central Lincoln.

The officers rescued the kitten and called animal control.
