Bond set at $1 million for man accused of assaulting two adolescent girls

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man was held on a $1 million bond Friday on charges of sexually assaulting two girls.
Scotlund Adkins, 31, is charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child, second-degree sexual assault of a child and intentional child abuse.
Court documents say he inappropriately touched a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old.
He also had one of them watch pornography with him and gave the other one a sex toy, according to an arrest affidavit.
One of the girls reported the assaults last week, and Adkins was arrested on Thursday.
Adkins would need to pay $100,000 to be released from jail.
His next court appearance is set for Dec. 12.
