Boy shot in face with BB gun during fight, Grand Island Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An 11-year-old boy is in trouble with police after being accused of shooting another boy in the face with a BB gun.
The Grand Island Police Department says officers were called about an assault near South Vine Street and Memorial Drive just after 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Arriving officers found a 10-year-old boy with a bloody injury on his chin.
The boy told police he had been in a fight with an 11-year-old boy who pulled out a BB gun pistol and shot him in the face with it.
Police say the boy later admitted to shooting the victim in the face.
He was referred on suspicion of second-degree assault and the use of a weapon to commit a felony.
