Breakfast Runza sandwiches being sold at one Lincoln location Wednesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincolnites will have a chance Wednesday to try a breakfast Runza sandwich.
In a social media post, Runza announced that the long-awaited sandwich will be sold at the 56th and Holdrege streets location starting at 8 a.m.

tomorrow at 8:00 AM at our 56th & Holdrege location in Lincoln, we’ll have a VERY limited supply of breakfast runza sandwiches!

Runza said the restaurant will have a “very limited” supply.
Several users on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, have asked Runza to release a breakfast variation of its famous sandwich.
Channel 8’s Megan Conway even thought a breakfast Runza sounded delicious in 2023.

Runza also asks that people bring cash donations to raise money for youth hunger organizations.
