UPDATE: 18-year-old girl flown to hospital after rollover east of Lincoln

UPDATE:
Officials say an 18-year-old girl transported by medical helicopter to the hospital after a rollover crash east of Lincoln is expected to survive her injuries.
It happened just after 2 o’clock this afternoon near 148th and east A streets. Only one car was involved.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said they called in a Star Care helicopter because the driver seemed to have life–threatening injuries.
“There was only one occupant in the vehicle,” Sgt. Tommy Trotter said. “She was initially determined to be possibly having some life–threatening injuries but that turned out to be not the case, fortunately. She was transported by Star Care 5 helicopter to Bryan Health.”
The girl’s identity has not yet been released, but good news is that her injuries are non–life threatening.
LSO said the vehicle looks like a total loss and deputies stuck around to help traffic flow through.
