BREAKING–School shooting at Northern Arizona University

Officials say one person is dead and three are wounded after a shooting at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. early this morning.

It happened in a parking lot on the northeast side of campus outside of Mountainview Hall dormitory at around 1:20 a.m. PDT, or 3:20 a.m. CST.

School public relations director Cindy Brown says they have the alleged shooter in custody.

Brown says there is no information about the victims or the shooter at this time, or whether they were students. She does not know what caused the shooting.

The University posted on its Twitter account that the campus has been stabilized and there was not a lockdown.
