Breezy Overnight, Temperatures Stay Cold for Sunday
Southeast Nebraska saw 2-4″ of snow this morning with snow totals increasing north and east of the Capital City. While accumulating snowfall is done for the day, blowing snow could continue to reduce visibility and create hazards for those traveling.
Frigid temperatures are ahead for this evening with overnight temperatures in the teens.
Wind gusts look to gradually fall throughout the evening, with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour still possible tonight.
Stormcast gives us a break from precipitation until early Monday morning, when chances for snow return across the state.
Forecast lows will be in the lower teens for most, with temperatures dropping into the single digits tonight in central Nebraska.
Mostly cloudy skies will try to keep us above the 10-degree mark tonight in Lincoln. Should we see clearing tonight, Lincoln could drop to the single digits as well.
High temperatures tomorrow will remain chilly in the lower 20s for southeast Nebraska.

Monday marks the start of meteorological winter and there is no better way to start winter off than with a chance of snow in the morning. Temperatures remain well below average through the upcoming work week, with highs in the 20s and 30s.
