Bret Michaels adopts Bret Michaels, a Nebraska dog who helped save kitten’s life
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Bret Michaels, a 6-year-old husky at the Nebraska Humane Society, is going home with Bret Michaels, the lead singer of Poison.
On Tuesday, the dog received a “round of ap-paws” when it donated blood to a kitten that was suffering from flea anemia, the shelter said.
In an update Thursday, the shelter announced that the rock star would be adopting Bret Michaels, the dog.
“We can’t wait to see how he thrives in his new home, we just hope it doesn’t get too confusing when someone tells Bret Michaels to fetch!” the shelter said in a Facebook post.
