Broadway Block Party: Nebraska volleyball to face Kentucky in Nashville

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska volleyball is heading to Nashville later this year for a matchup against Kentucky in the Broadway Block Party.
The game, hosted by the Nashville Sports Council and ESPN Events, will be broadcast on ABC on Aug. 31 at 11 a.m.
The event features three matches between Big Ten and SEC teams: Nebraska vs. Kentucky, Illinois vs. Vanderbilt and Purdue vs. Tennessee.

Before heading to Nashville, the Huskers — led by new head coach Dani Busboom Kelly — will start their season at the AVCA First Serve Showcase at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Nebraska is taking on Pittsburgh at that event on Aug. 22.
