Bryan Health is expanding hours and nearly doubling the number of people who can be tested for COVID-19 at it’s drive-thru clinic.

The clinic will operate from 1:30-4 p.m. seven days a week at its LifePointe Campus at 7501 S 27th St. Bryan officials said they anticipate increasing the number of people tested each day from 60 to 110.

Patients must schedule visits in advance by getting a referral from their doctor’s office or Bryan’s eZVisit online service. Once a referral is made, a Bryan employee will call and set up the appointment.

The service will be limited to one patient per vehicle at a time.

Bryan will bill patients’ insurance as warranted or pursue other financial options.

The changes are a result of faster turnaround for test results. Last week, Bryan had more than 300 pending tests. Monday, they had only 28. On average, patients are getting results back in two days.

As of Monday, Bryan had received 63 positive test results and had four in-house patients from Lancaster County who have COVID-19. Only one person is on a ventilator.
