Bryan Health upgrades COVID screening procedures

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — If you are stopping by Bryan Health, you might notice a new piece of equipment when walking in.

Bryan Medical Center has installed a total of 21 new COVID-19 self-screening kiosks at Bryan East and Bryan West Campus. The kiosks remind people that masks are required, as two coronavirus screening questions, take temperatures, and provide stickers for entry.

These kiosks are designed to speed up and simplify the screening processes, which eases staffing needs.

Ellen Beans, director, volunteers & customer care for Bryan Health commented, “many, many hours of staff time, pulling them away from their other responsibilities, but necessary to ensure that we have a very safe, safe environment for all who enter and serve here. So, we were able to get these self-screening devices so that we could release, all of those staff back to their areas.”
