Bryan Medical Center receives largest private donation in history

Bryan Medical Center has received the largest private donation gift in history. The gift is part of a new $45 million renovation to Bryan East Campus.
Some of the key features include 14 large operating rooms, 42 private patient rooms and 18 recovery rooms for after surgery.
"The community is growing tremendously and Bryan is stepping up to meet these future demands that are going to treat patients for decades to come," said vice president of Advancement, Bob Ravenscroft.
Bryan named its main inpatient care tower the Acklie tower. This is in recognition of a lead gift from the Acklie charitable foundation.
The renovation begins next January and will take nearly 3 years to complete.
