Burglar found sleeping inside Nebraska business, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police in south-central Nebraska say they woke a sleeping burglar on Monday.
Just before 7 a.m., officers with the Holdrege Police Department were sent to a business near U.S. Highway 34 and East Avenue.
They found 31-year-old Ryan Putera of Holdrege sleeping inside, according to a press release.
Putera was arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
He was taken to the Phelps County Jail.
