UPDATE: Man arrested for Burglary at O’Reilly’s in West Lincoln

A witness helped Lincoln Police find a man who they think broke into two auto part stores.
They arrested 51-year-old Walter Divers for burglary Thursday.
Before 3 a.m.Thursday, Lincoln Police said a witness called after seeing a man break a window and enter the O’Reilly auto part store near 1st and West O.
They said the witness saw the suspect carrying several boxes out of the business.
Then, police caught up with Divers near 17th and Salt Creek Roadway.
They found about $900 worth of stolen electronics in his truck.
LPD believes he also responsible the O’Reilly burglary near 48th and vine that happened in August.
Officers said about $2,200 dollars worth of similar items were taken.

Lincoln Police have arrested a man who broke into an O’Reilly’s Auto Parts store this morning.
It happened a little after 2am near 2nd and O Streets.
Police say the suspect used a rock and smashed a window and tried to steal some items before leaving in his SUV.
Officers later pulled him over and arrested him, close to the store.
Authorities are trying to determine if more people were involved.
