Cambridge residents asked to evacuate again due to wildfires


FURNAS COUNTY, Neb. (KLKN) – The Furnas County Sheriff’s Office is asking all Cambridge residents to evacuate once again, saying it’s mandatory due to wildfires.

The post was made to their social media Saturday afternoon.

The agency added that Highway 47 is shut down along with several roadways in the area because of the fires.

Several other towns in the area, including Macy, are also urging residents to evacuate, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
