LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Going to the vet can cost pet owners a lot of money.

One Lincoln shelter has been helping those in need by providing care at an affordable price.

The Capital Humane Society’s Pawsitive Impact Project is available on multiple dates this month.

Pet owners can choose from a variety of care ranging from flea and tick prevention, to vaccinations and microchips.

The program also includes access to pet food and a supply pantry.

Visitors can stop by anytime between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at 1626 South Street, Suite 3.
