Car catches fire on rural highway near Crete
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A car caught fire Thursday morning on a rural highway near Crete.
Crete Fire & Rescue responded to the blaze near Highway 103 and County Road H around 7:50 a.m.
A tanker and engine from Crete helped put out the fire.
A part of Highway 103 was shut dow by deputies with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office as crews battled the fire.
No one was injured, and it’s unknown what caused the car fire.
All units from Crete were returned to service at around 8:40 a.m.
