Car crash on Highway 281 north of Hastings

HASTINGS, Neb. — On Friday after 4 p.m., a Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with a Chrysler Town and Country, according to Nebraska State Patrol (NSP).

The Jeep was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes and collided with the southbound Town and Country on Highway 281.

According to NSP, it is believed the driver of the Jeep may have been having a medical issue.

The driver of the Jeep was the only one inside the vehicle, while the Town and Country had two occupants.

All involved were wearing seat belts and sustained minor injuries, according to NSP.

None of the injuries are expected to be life threatening.
